Anybody here enjoy listening to any of the Red Army Choir songs? Especially the patriotic ones.

Ive listened to quite a few of the songs, and they're pretty great(especially the lyrics when you read the translations). My first experience was the Song of the Volga Boatmen. Then from there I just listened to most of their songs.

I enjoy listening to the RAC too, although i don't know so many songs yet. If i remember correctly, the first songs i've listened to were "Let's go" and "The hunt for red october".

They're great, my first song was Oh Fields, My fields, that was the first moment of socialism in my life.

I have Farewell of Slavianka and The Sacred War in my music library. Pretty good songs if you haven't heard them already.

It's a sentimentalist Soviet Russian folk song, not "socialism".

Korobelniki is one of my favorites.

They were a bad shadow of their former selves at the recent Olympics singing 'Lucky'.

My mother had them on some old 78 rpm records back in the 1940s, and she played them all the time. She also had Paul Robeson. I really loved them.
