I'm in Alabama and I feel like I can't do a whole lot because we obviously don't have very many leftists down here. Are there any Alabama natives/neighbors on here that would be willing to start a group or point me in the right direction? I'm in high school and I don't drive or else I'd go to Atlanta or something. I have absolutely no idea what to do or where to go and I feel like it's holding me back because I don't have anybody to bounce ideas off of outside of the internet. I'm fine with online groups as long as they actually do things in the real world, but every online group I've found has been abandoned for years. Help?

Society is undergoing a generalized, long-term crisis. No matter where you are, struggles are breaking out, whether they be big or small. Just find out what is happening in your area, figure out how to support the people involved, building solidarity, publicizing their struggle, etc.

May I suggest that this is a much better use of your time? And, as an added bonus, by doing this you are sure to eventually run into real-life leftists who share your interests!
