I've really gotten into Transhumanism, which is a radical branch of humanism. It basically stresses ascending beyond your limitations by changing your fundamental nature, and interaction with the Universe. It doesn't matter if it's life extension, mind emulation, dyson spheres, cryogenics... etc. It's anything that changes how human society works on a fundamental level.

This becomes especially relevant when you look at the nature of government. All our governments exist to mask our flaws a species. We seem to know what our flaws are, but to change then would take away our humanity. So we don't change them and come up with more and more complex layers in society to hide that.... Blah, blah, blah...

I'm going off on a tangent, but does anyone really understand what I'm trying to communicate?

Governtment is the embodiment of human weakness they in no way hide our flaws - idealistic government hides our flaws.

You’re talking about self perfection trying to challenge and extending your abilities working on your downfalls. Pretty much making yourself a better person.

i just read it again there's more to it then what i said but yes i get you.

I disagree ILMK (that seems like a good acronymn). Governments, especially big ones, become more and more bueracratic in the hope that human flaws get lost in the shuffle. By having, in the US for example, a huge government with many different branches and departments, we are able to hide the imperfections of people by spreading things out and making them overly complex.

Perhaps if you went into a bit more detail I'd be able to respond better than I currently can, Umoja.

Personally I see humanism as trash.
