I was always somewhat impressed at how long he managed to evade authorities.

Indeed, his tactics could be of use!:D Jajajaja. Joking... I think. Anyway being part of a "Mexican cultural" community this has been the hot topic of the week. Most of us think Chapo will probably bribe his way out of jail in a month to a year unless he's extradited. Now El Mayo is head of the cartel, and they're already talking about a territorial power vacuum in Chapo's ex-regions. Well, at least this is keeping Univision from putting to much biased anti-socialist stories about the Venezuelan protests out there!

I have a weird admiration and hatred for these people. How much power they accumulate and turn into defacto rulers of large sections of society. At the same time romanticizng them for their resistance to authority and evasion succesfully. That makes me respect them.
In the end though, what they do is atrocious. These drug cartels are really crazy in their "fear" campaigns.

They're protesting in Culiacan, Sinaloa for El Chapo to be released.
