I dont know how to explain this, so let's just consider one body part, the chest. Must one put on size (on chest) in order to have a sculpted chest? Or is that possible without adding size?

I am talking about the Paul Wesley kind of physique - not a big chest like bodybuilders but a sculpted defined one just the same.

You need to increase muscle and decrease body fat. It's not that difficult to get a sculpted chest, as you'll lose fat there before you lose fat around your middle. You will obviously need to have at least some muscle there, and once you have some muscle there, you can decide how 'sculpted' you want to go, by how much body fat you drop.
