Walker victom of "Liberal Values"?

By now I'm sure you all have heard about Johnny Walker... the American from California who went off to fight for the Taliban.

I was watching a talk show just now and a stauch conservitive clamed that Walker was victom of a liberal upbringing which had lead him to the Taliban.

A phone in guest replied that that comment was bull... and said, " Was Tim McVeigh victom of a Conservitive upbringing?"

Of course the conservitive's reply was simply that McVeigh wasn't a conservitive but John Walker was a Liberal... WTF? Does he realize how stupid that comment is? It has nothing to do with political affiliation... the Taliban isn't a Liberal group for crying out loud!

I think the guest was noting that since he didn't make any "conservative" or "right-wing" statements it is rather silly for all of you to assume he is. For all you know he is the chairman of some anarcho-syndicalist commune in upstate NY.
It is rather funny that you would resort to calling someone a conservative by the very virtue that he disagrees with you on a topic that isn't even political. Shows a lot about your characters.
