I'm making pamphlets to pass out anywhere I could, such as schools, grocery stores, shopping malls, workplaces, and even at houses of worship. I'm handing these pamphlets out to people of all backgrounds. I need some help on making political pamphlets and here is what I need help on:
1. What are free alternatives to Microsoft Publisher, since I don't have that and I have Ubuntu as an operating system? (Please give me links if applicable)

I'm going to ask for more help for the pamphlets and might update the questions.

Scribus is a powerful desktop publishing software that helps you create great looking documents of all kinds. It also comes with a lot of support options to help you achieve the best result.

You're probably better off posting further questions as replies.
Depending on how intricate the pamphlets are, you could use LibreOffice Writer if you wanted ease-of-use and simplicity in appearance (ie. no or very little of fancy graphics)

We would like to see the outcome of your efforts or even might be able to help with the layout if you provide the text.
There are some good pamphlets available from the SPGB if you want free to share text content.
