Anyone listen to this album, and if so what did you think?
One of my friends got me into QOTSA long ago, they've been one of the contemporary rock bands that I like since I listened to "Rated R" way back when. I've listened to most of what they've put out since then, although "Lullabies to Paralyze" was the only one I actually picked up when it came out, and they've put out a solid body of work IMO. I just liked Josh Homme's droning vocals combined with the band's varied sound...their music videos were often pretty "interesting" too. I'm surprised that "...LC" came out in mid-2013, as it seems that I had only heard about it recently...I've been listening to it on youtube and so far I like a couple songs but overall I like it less than some of QOTSA's previous efforts.
