I am not original and that makes me happy. It's too difficult being original for me. So I am confident what I am about to state has been stated a million times.

I need not remind this forum and its members that we see the right doing every single thing they can to destroy and wreck the poorer populations. I've been a lefty and amateur Socialist for ages but my pea brain woke up a couple of weeks ago while having a cathartic moment on my blog.

Something occurred to me that you probably all knew a long time ago. So let me see if I have this straight

the right will fight until blue to take away every possible effort at welfare for those who they spent eons knocking to the ground with class warfare and anti-poor policy. Now ALL the while they are willing to take welfare, subsidy and tax breaks for massive corporations who likewise trash their own workers and cut their hours so that they don't have to *GASP* give them benefits.

Do I have this right? No welfare or government assistance for the poor but tax breaks and welfare for Walmart is ok?

See this is where I get stuck. I loathe most of the fascist crap spewed by the right but this is the one that just drills into my side like a dagger.

The right cares all about you as a fetus but then turns and says 'now that we forced you to have a baby don't you dare ask us for help. Oh and while we are talking could you maybe take 10% off the property taxes for the new Walmart? Don't worry, it will trickle down"

the right bourgeoisie will fight until blue to take away every possible effort at welfare for those who they spent eons knocking to the ground with class warfare and anti-proletarian policy.

Yes, they will. And they'll win, because we live in a social order where the class that owns capital lords political power over those who don't. This is called dictatorship of the bourgeoisie. Recorded history has always been the struggle of one class against the other. Slave against master, peasant against lord, now, it's proletarian against bourgeois. The proletarian doesn't ultimately need welfare, he needs political power and control of the means of production.

Now ALL the while they are willing to take welfare, subsidy and tax breaks for massive corporations who likewise trash their own workers and cut their hours so that they don't have to *GASP* give them benefits.

Of course they do. Capital rules in its own self interest. If they can get away with not giving you benefits and increasing their profits, they won't give you a tinker's damn. You're a commodity, easily replaced by another member of your class.

No welfare or government assistance for the poor but tax breaks and welfare for Walmart is ok?

Yes, government assistance for Walmart is OK, because the government is set up solely to manage the affairs of the class that owns Wal-Mart.

Proletarians do not need their help, proletarians need to and eventually will smash them and seize political control and control of the means of production.
