well, i've read the comic book and have seen the movie a couple times. and it's still got me thinking about shit. and i don't know whether to like it or not. but i like it for the stuff it represents and dislike it for the certain qualities the characters embody.
for example, when they call up seymour saying they're the striking blonde and asking him to meet them at the diner. that was awful. but at least enid recognizes that at the end. and then all the art class scenes were just painful. i'd have to say my favorite scene is at the end where she points out to seymour while he's in the hospital that he didn't notice how he evolved in her book from dorky to excellent. anyway, i'll stop and not ruin it for those who haven't seen it.

Hee hee... I feel so connected.
My cousin's uncle (and no that's not my dad) is a very successful comic book artist. He wrote Ghost World, and helped majorly with the movie. I've only seen part of the movie, with my cousin, and it was pretty good. I'll get around to seeing the whole thing someday.

Sure, I can try. It might take me a little while, though...

Birch and Johansson are two voluputous women. Oh yeah, the movie. Quite funny, and Buscemi is great.

I saw it for english class last year, it's pretty good and kind of relates to me.
Oh, and Scarlett Johannson is damn hot. :)

ATP, sorry, haven't gotten in contact with him yet. I've been really busy with school and all, but I'm working on getting you a signed copy now.
When's your friend's birthday?

Ortega:
Wow, Daniel Clowes is related to you? Awesome! I love Ghost World. I felt just like Enid did when I was in high school. Still do, pretty much.
