What are some good websites to check out Marxist perspectives about current events and politics, read up Marxist theories, etc?

Brace yourself, everyone is coming, to promote their own groups' site.
A little search might help, it's not like this has never been asked before. But yeah, there are many hundreds of such websites. It kinda depends what kind of politics you're into to see what fits you.

This one.
Probably the most useful place to start, I would think.

Marxists.org is a primary source library you probably know about.
libcom.org is a similar kind of archive, except with an anarchist/left communist focus and a good current events section from that perspective.
I'm going to get a lot of shit for this I'm sure, but socialistworker.org is a decent enough left newsmagazine from a soft-Trotskyist perspective. it's run by the International Socialist Organization in the US, a Trotskyist organization to which I do not belong and have political differences with. this is a good barometer for the basic tenor of contemporary American party-Marxism. I'm sure other organizations have papers of a similar quality of which I am unaware that could fulfill the same purpose.
one of my favorites, although of fluctuating quality as of late, is thenorthstar.info, a pluralist communist journal with plenty of left-social democrat, Leninist (mostly Trotskyist), leftcom, and anarchist perspectives interspersed.
newleftproject.org is a similar endeavor, but less explicitly communist and more liberal-friendly, in my view. still worth checking out.
I recommend a couple of podcasts as well:
Novara.fm - a current events, political analysis and theory podcast by two unusually incisive leftcom students
Behind the News - a social-democratic newsmagazine by Doug Henwood; consider this the aural equivalent of Socialist Worker, or perhaps just to the right of it. useful for the same reason, and still more than occasionally interesting.
Diet Soap/Pop the Left - Diet Soap is a kind of trippy philosophy podcast that sometimes dips into fascinating political issues. Pop the Left is/was a leftcom political analysis podcast with the same basic structure as Diet Soap, except with a co-host.
