Cities - What would cities be like under an Anarchist society? Would skyscrapers still exist, if not, what would be an alternative to skyscrapers? Would committees for things like building, inspection, and health exist?
Suburbs - Will Suburbs (I'm referring to the typical American suburbs) still exist in Anarchism or would they be disposed of? What could be an alternative to the American type suburbs?
Rural - Would people be allowed to live in sparsely populated areas?
Hospitals - Would hospitals exist in an Anarchist society? If so, how would they operate? If not, what would be an alternative to hospitals? Would mental hospitals still exist in Anarchist society, if not what is an alternative for dealing with mentally ill people? Would committees be in charge of such health places and how/where they are built?
Censuses - Would censuses still be conducted in a stateless society, if so, would they be voluntary to participate in?
Pets - Would pets (for example, domesticated dogs and cats) be allowed in an Anarchist society, if so, where would pets be adopted and how would they be adopted?
Laws/Rules - Would rules/laws still exist, if not, what would be an alternative to laws/rules? Who would be in charge of keeping order without a government/state? Would a program like a neighborhood watch committee exist for this purpose?
Space exploration - Would we still consider going to space, let alone colonizing it when we get rid of the state/government and capitalism? If so, would such committees exist for space exploration/space colonization?
Transportation - How would transportation work in Anarchist society, would they be automated? Would a committee inspect for any problems in such transportation and manage transportation? Would cars and/or planes still exist, if so, would an alternative fuel exist for them, if not, what could be an alternative to a car and/or plane?
Technology like computers/tablets/Programming - Would there be automated factories for making computer parts, if not computers? Would a universal committee be in charge of programming a default computer interface?
Schools - Models like Sudbury or Summerhill school are great, but there are still some questions I have: Would people be required to go to school for a fixed amount of time? Would children, teens, and adults learn together instead of having wasteful buildings separating them? I personally would like to see not only children and teens learn together, but adults themselves learning at education centers together with everyone else. I would want people to learn at their own pace and what they wanted to, as long as it does not harm anyone else or the environment significantly.
Here is a list on what I think would certainly be thrown out the window:
Restaurants (Will probably be replaced by Kitchens/Cafeterias)
Shopping centers/stores including shopping malls and car dealers
Consumerism
Advertising (What could be alternatives to advertising, if any)
Gaming arcades, for arcade games would be on a handheld or on a computer.
Planned obsolescence (Obsolescence time will probably be extended for as long as possible, if not prevented in the first place)
Marriage (Will be replaced by free love, please give me any links to any writings/websites that describe free love)
If you have any writings/websites that could answer my questions, please tell me the writings/websites and if there are links to the websites/writings, please provide a link to the writing(s).

I think outlining the specifics of what an imaginary society would look like seems a bit utopian to me.

If you're looking for vague blueprints, read Kropotkin's Conquest of Bread, as well as his other work. If you're looking for examples, check out the Ukrainian Free Territories and anarchist-controlled areas of Spain during the heyday of the CNT-FAI.
If you're looking for what society will look like in the anarchist/communist future, well, no one knows yet, that will largely depend on how people decide to organize it, but again CoB is a pretty good window into it all.

Cities - What would cities be like under an Anarchist society? Would skyscrapers still exist, if not, what would be an alternative to skyscrapers? Would committees for things like building, inspection, and health exist?
Probably pretty similar. Why wouldn't they?
Suburbs - Will Suburbs (I'm referring to the typical American suburbs) still exist in Anarchism or would they be disposed of? What could be an alternative to the American type suburbs?
Demolishing every suburb seems like a pretty inefficient use of time and resources when they are perfectly good for housing people
Rural - Would people be allowed to live in sparsely populated areas?
Why wouldn't they be allowed to?
Hospitals - Would hospitals exist in an Anarchist society? If so, how would
they operate? If not, what would be an alternative to hospitals? Would mental hospitals still exist in Anarchist society, if not what is an alternative for dealing with mentally ill people? Would committees be in charge of such health places and how/where they are built?
I can't tell you exactly how hospitals will run, but we will obviously need some sort of medical center available. Mental help would probably be much more readily available in an anarchist society as there would be no unnecessary payments or shunning due to an issue.
Censuses - Would censuses still be conducted in a stateless society, if so, would they be voluntary to participate in?
If they were around it would be voluntary
Pets - Would pets (for example, domesticated dogs and cats) be allowed in an Anarchist society, if so, where would pets be adopted and how would they be adopted?
Pets would probably still be around, and they could be adopted wherever there were an abundance of them I suppose. I'm sure animal shelters will still exist so that would be a good place to look.
Laws/Rules - Would rules/laws still exist, if not, what would be an alternative to laws/rules? Who would be in charge of keeping order without a government/state? Would a program like a neighborhood watch committee exist for this purpose?
no, fuck the law dawg. Nobody will be in charge of keeping order as hopefully most crime will diminish without any financial burden on people. Self defense is the new police force (but without the brutality and racism)
A neighborhood watch type of deal would be reasonable so long as they didn't become a police force.
Space exploration - Would we still consider going to space, let alone colonizing it when we get rid of the state/government and capitalism? If so, would such committees exist for space exploration/space colonization?
Space exploration would probably significantly increase under an anarchist society where government funding is no longer an issue. People who are interested in space now will continue to be interested in space in an anarchist society, and hopefully they would have the full backing of the community
Transportation - How would transportation work in Anarchist society, would they be automated? Would a committee inspect for any problems in such transportation and manage transportation? Would cars and/or planes still exist, if so, would an alternative fuel exist for them, if not, what could be an alternative to a car and/or plane?
I'm not really understanding the obsession with committees.
Cars and planes will not cease to exist post-capitalism, and they will most likely still be a viable source of transportation. Alternative fuel would hopefully be a priority of some sort and I'm sure it will be found without oil companies impeding the progress.
Technology like computers/tablets/Programming - Would there be automated factories for making computer parts, if not computers? Would a universal committee be in charge of programming a default computer interface?
automated factories? There would still be factories, but I don't know why we have to jump to automation so fast.I can't tell you in which way technology would go without brands competing with one another; that's something we would have to wait and see.
Schools would be redesigned beyond imagine.

There will be no mindless consumerism or advertising, but there will still be desire and news about new devices/items.
I do not know of any writings about a prediction of the future that could be any more accurate than mine.

I think you might really enjoy the FAQ in my sig Judas Maiden. Especially check out the section called "What Would An Anarchist Society Look Like". The FAQ is very detailed and scholarly.

It is pretty useless to try to imagine a truly anarchic society, however for the purpose of amusement, i'll give it a shot.
I think overtime the division between city and suburb will be broken down, and human settlements will be technologically and sustainably integrated into natural landscapes.
I don't see there being any kind of written law, just a generally accepted code of "don't fuck with me and I won't fuck with you". Cooperating with others in pursuit of mutual goals will be much more advantageous to an individuals self-interest anyway.
Transportation will likely be made almost completely public, and far more efficient and convenient. That said were not gonna force people to use it, and they'll be free to retain/invent/create/use their own vehicles if they want.
Healthcare and hospitals will exist and will be free and open to all who require them. And they'll be self-managed by the healthcare workers of course.
Education will be self-managed by students and teachers, and the authority of teachers over students will disapear. Students will choose to study whatever they'd like, will be free to come and go as they please, participate in activities of their choosing, and have democratic control over the functioning of the schools. And even going to school will be a choice left to the kid. Remove hierarchy from schools and encourage free thinking and pursuit of knowledge, and I think most kids will WANT to go to school.
The whole spirit of the new society will likely be one of equality and solidarity, characterized by free association and individualism. People will come together because they want to, for as long as they'd like, and will leave and form new associations as they see fit. No one will be seen as better than any other. Equality in diversity; no more will we see some as superior and others as inferior, rather each will be seen as an integral part of humanity, unique and valuable.
Space exploration? Hell yeah, why not? Assuming we start devoting all our technological prowess to solving human problems and expanding human potential, this kind of endeavor will undoubtedly be pursued.
This is a very idyllic vision. In all probability we will only reach an approximation of this. There will still be some violent individuals, some anti-social acts, some bigotry, and some nasty shit. People will have to come up with non-hierarchical means to handle such things. Regardless, anarchy will without a doubt prove to be an infinitely preferable form of society, better than any that has ever existed.

Just to add something about space exploration:
I can only see space exploration and the sciences in general exploding in an anarchist society. We as a species would finally have the ability to invest our resources into truly making a better future for our society by pushing the boundaries of human endeavors - all without worrying about government funding and all the economic and social roadblocks that stunt such industries under a capitalist state.

JudasMaiden, you likely aren't aware how broad concept of anarchism is. All streams of anarchism unite only two things: lack of state and private property. But state is recognized as system of private property maintenance. All remaining functions assigned to state in anarchist ruling can remain beside certainly a private property maintenance.
And there is difference how world would look like under anarcho-primitivism, anarcho-syndicalism, anarcho-collectivism, anarcho-communism an Proudhonism. There is no common view in all that.

There's a lot of literature on city planning and its relation to capitalism. Check out David Harvey and Henri Lefebvre. The most famous example of this relationship was Haussman's renovation of Paris creating wide boulevards to make the urban insurrections of 1830 and 1848 impossible.

Fellow Anarchists, what are your stances on:
1. Abortion
2. Religion's practices (especially involuntary practices like male/female genital mutilation)
3. Children/Teens viewing pornography and even voluntarily taking part in Pornography
4. Zoophilia
5. Public Nudity
6. Extremely "dangerous" drugs
Also fellow Anarchists, here are a few more questions?
A. What are your opinions on the Venus Project?
B. When and where will you start forming communes?
C. What would you do with people with severe disabilities(physical or mental)?
D. What about languages and writing systems, since there would be no state or nationality to divide us, only "blood type(like A, AB, O, etc)"?
My personal stances on:
1. Abortion, I think the human fetus/embryo is completely dependent on the mother's body(in the future, we could have transparent eggs where we could see babies grow in these eggs) and therefore is not a human being.
2, 3, 4, 5, and 6: As long as they do not harm others or force others to do the interaction, then it is okay. Religion would certainly be tolerated, but practices like infant male circumcision should be discouraged and unless the child has a huge problem with their private area, then they should not be forced to be circumcised at a really young age. Zoophilia, or sexual activity between animals and humans should be allowed as long as they don't involve others or force others to do it.

You think it's okay for children to take part in pornography and for people to sexually abuse animals? This is the society you want to see?
As for the rest of this thread, 'anarchism' is a methodology and critique of the state and hierarchy. It's not a state in which a society exists. There's no such thing as being "under anarchism."
