Generally speaking, what is the Trotskyist approach and understanding of Tito and Titoism?

The majority of the reconstituted postwar Fourth International - people we would now call "Pabloists" - considered Tito an "unconscious Trotskyist", a contradictory term if there ever was one. Other tendencies within Trotskyism generally view Tito in the same way as they view other "glacis" states - i.e. most viewed Yugoslavia as a deformed workers' state but the Shachtmanists considered it to be bureaucratic-collectivist, Cliffites state-capitalist etc.
There was, I believe, a branch of the International Committee in Yugoslavia; they were suppressed, dissolved themselves, and some of them lost the thread quite badly.
