The RevLeft BA has decided that from now on, the stricter rules already enforced in the Learning forum will be expanded to also apply in the Introductions forum. This means that verbal warnings will no longer be issued in Introductions.

Breaking the board rules in this forum, by posting spam, flames or offensive content will from now on lead directly to the issuing of infractions (warning points). Oneline posts without substance and tendency baiting will also not be tolerated.

The reason behind this measure is to ensure that new users feel welcome to the board. Please help the BA to enforce this by reporting users that are breaking the rules, and by showing a good example with your own posts.

UPDATE: two further adjustments to the forum specific rules in the Learning and Introductions forums have been implemented and are in effect from today:

1) Global Moderators and Admin are from now on expected infract users for an overtly hostile, sarcastic or otherwise disrespectful tone in Learning and Introductions forum replies, even if they do not contain direct flames or otherwise violate the general rules that apply on the rest of the board, after one (1) logged, personal verbal warning per user. Other rule violations in these forums will still lead straight to infractions.

2) Users infracted for the third time for flaming posters with less than 500 posts, or for the fifth time for flaming in general, in the Learning and/or Introductions forums, may be blocked from posting in these specific forums, pending a vote in the BA forum for a fixed or undeterminated lenght of time, other eventual sanctions not withstanding. Infractions for the purpose of this rule start to be counted from the moment it is implemented.
