One of my favourite Hollywood actors. Only 46. Another one lost to drugs. So sad.
The last scene from Synecdoche, New York seems more poignant than ever.

I thought he was spectacular as Truman Capote.

This is really sad. Reportedly, he had been clean for 20 years when he started doing drugs again.

One of my favorite actors as well. Obviously he was fantastic in Capote. Another favorite role of mine was him in The Big Lebowski, just because its such a awesome movie and a change of pace role for him. My favorite film of his, however, is probably Doubt. I can remember thinking about that movie for a while, after I had first watched it and its the type of movie you want to re watch multiple times. Him and Meryl Streep are great in that film.

I have no idea who this is, nor have I seen any of the film's he has been in, at least not in the last 10 years, judging by the list.

You've never seen Big Lebowski?

The last movie with him that I saw was "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead". That's another good one, super dark storyline, I'd recommend it if you haven't seen it. Looking back on it the scenes in which his character uses heroin take on a new significance, it would seem.

Too bad and surprising. He was really good in the master and magnolia and tons of films.

Damn, they're saying on the news that he had somewhere in the neighborhood of 70 bags of heroin in his place. I've never done heroin but that sounds like a lot of heroin
