30 million slaves worldwide, not including wage slaves, that's fucking ridiculous. But yet we get libertarians complaining about how socialism "enslaves" people and capitalism serves to liberate. I mean seriously, fucking 1 in 25 in Mauritania are slaves, imagine if 1 out of every 25 people you knew was a slave. And that's not even including wage slaves, which would include the vast majority of people.

Agreed, it's so disgusting. It makes me want to slaughter the people who are like "yeah but sometimes capitalism is good" because it's just like "NO! Look at the diversity in the types of capitalism across the globe - and yet they all have slaves, so where exactly is the benevolence?"
