So normally, I'm really good at avoiding shit and keeping my cool but today I fucking lost it. I was arguing that, scarcity is artificial created, that we have everything we need to provide everyone equally (right now) with housing, healthcare, mental healthcare, food, clothes, etc. I was then talked down and shouted at by this fat old dude and his lackey with this whole argument of and I quote "really? And who's gonna pay for all your social services in your fairy tale world, Princess?" Needless to say, I fucking almost had a coronary. I removed myself from the class tho and took a breather. Before this, as calmly as I could say, that makes no sense if we are operating under the premise of a gift economy in a post-capitalist society. Can all you smart ppl give me some heavy theory, in your face, stfu you fat fucking old loser, responses, counter-arguments, articles, etc. to this common bullshit argument? I hate looking stupid and emotive, it's like the worst. It'd be way appreciated and I never ask you guys for nothing so do it! Lol, kthnxbye.

No one pays for anything in communism, since money doesn't exist. It's not a profit-based system.

WELL IF MONEY DONT EXIST HOW DO U BUY THINGS CHECKMATE COMMIES

Seriously, I feel your pain, these are the worst types of people. It isn't that they're not capable of understanding the simple concept of "no money", they just choose not to.

Yeah, I argue too much with these types of people. They're so biased, they don't try to understand us even a little bit.

My father argues this with me every time. It pisses me off, and no matter how much explaining I do he can't see past his bias, rather I think he just doesn't care, he just thinks its human nature to be capitalist, and there is another argument I have to destroy constantly it seems.
