What the title says basically. How do people on this forum view this theory?

Where genes affect the biological structure of organisms, memes affect the informational structure of knowledge.
I would say the view is useful for would-be propagandists and those who are interested in the develeopment of culture and ideology.
Ideally, you would want to design a meme (or combination of memes) that is able to "infect" a large number of minds very quickly, while at the same time improving their ability to survive. That combination would help ensure both the survival of the meme itself, and the survival of the people who carry the meme.
