Hi Bolshevik Sickle/SovietCommie! I don't care for it to be honest. Tosh is a pretty bad "comedian". Some of the stuff he says on Tosh.O actually makes me laugh, but thats just because of how corny his jokes are.

We can thank Daniel Tosh for bringing 4chan into the mainstream of late night comedy. That means vulgar humor, sexism, denigration of others for our pleasure, ironic homophobia, and just extreme shallowness in general.
Too many comedians think they are breaking social barriers when in reality, they are just being assholes. People who break social barriers and actually face backlash for doing so are called revolutionaries.

A lot of his jokes are really easy low-hanging fruit kinda things. Boring at best, imo. I don't really like the idea of "The Soup" for internet videos either -- seems extremely unnecessary since I can do that with friends and it's more entertaining.

His jokes aren't really all that clever or well structured tbh, they're just lazy and he pretty much rehashes the same things his said each joke.

The basic format is

-Someone getting hurt
-racist joke
-some vulgar video
-sexist joke
-someone being a douchebag
-some video of Tosh with no clothes on

It really doesn't change from that and the jokes are all very similar and unoriginal. Plus, I doubt he even writes the material anyways. He's a pretty lame comedian imo.

I just don't particularly think he's all that funny, honestly. I don't really like his douchebaggy college bro schtick or whatever he's on. It's not even necessarily that the humor is offensive...I like and can laugh at a lot of Louis CK's stuff, and he gets really dark and offensive with his humor sometimes, for example, but...yeah. Like I said. Just don't think he's that funny.
