Yes, it happens here, too. Actually quite frequently. Maybe it's because of the huge number of aspiring academics here?
I don't know how wise it will be to have a struggle session directed at others, but maybe if people submit themselves for a few good-old fashioned self-criticism here?
e.g., there's one thread I made a while ago where after I got a raise I was asking about how I should invest my surplus income.
Bonus points if you can name an instance of leftier-than-thou humble brag - e.g., "It's great being the unofficial leader of guys in my steel plant, but I gotta say I get tired of having to constantly lend out my copy of Das kapital signed by the author to my co-workers"
