Hello, I am a young communist from PA and I figured that it is time to do an introduction after one year of lurking with this account and another year without one.

I have been active in the far-left since I was 13 and I currently write for a West Bengal paper called ALORON.

Wow, a move from Pennsylvania to West-Bengal is quite a move. How did you end up getting there? Or do you write from the US? What is ALORON? And what are your own political ideas?

I write from the US. ALORON is one of the many anti-capitalist publications in India.

As for my political ideas, I am a platformist, but I identify myself as a pan-leftist before anything. But please do not assume I am one of those naive pan-leftists who go, "Oh, why can't we all get along, we are all anti-capitalist."

But unfortunately, when it comes to actually doing politics, I pretty much live by this quote said my Norman Finkelstein

Politics is not personal, politics is you want to build a mass movement for change, and if you want to build a mass movement for change, you got to begin where the people are.
