Hello from Indiana

[Liberty Prime]

I've been on this forum a few times, creeping, thought about making an account but have not gotten around to it until recently, and thought that I should introduce myself.

I'm from northern Indiana, about 5 miles south of Michigan. I am 16 years old, currently a junior in high school. Left wing politics and socialist economics have fascinated me since about early junior high.

Since junior high, I've read many books on communism and socialism, works by Lenin, Engels, Marx, Trostky, etc. Currently I am reading Das Kapital.

I am currently growing up in a Republican, but thankfully a very well off family. I have two relatives, a sister who is 25 and a brother who is 21, both identify themselves with the Republican party as well.

For college, I hope to major in computer engineering. Computers, programming, hacking, and anything related to those have intrigued me since I was a young boy. Video games are one of my more enjoyed hobbies. My name (Liberty Prime) is alluding to Fallout 3, Liberty Prime was a robot made by the US government to try to defeat the communists.

Anyways, I hope to enjoy this forum more now that I have an account.

Interesting how you're already reading Capital on your age. Something I wholly commend. I also recommend David Harvey's lectures (http://davidharvey.org/reading-capital/) as a useful guide.

What are your political ideas otherwise? If anything in particular of course.
