The bosses and their mouthpieces are gearing up for a major attack on workers rights in the Pacific Northwest. Backed by millions of dollars from the likes of Wal-Mart and the infamous Koch brothers, groups like the Freedom Foundation want to take away our right to organize unions and defend our rights on the job, under the deceptive slogan of right to work. When Wyatt McMinn, vice-president of Painters Local 10 in Portland, and a group of union activists challenged the Freedom Foundation at its supposedly public meeting in Vancouver, WA, these corporate hacks showed their true colors and called the police who threw out the workers and arrested Wyatt for trespassing. With a trial scheduled to begin February 6, Wyatt faces up to a year in prison and thousands of dollars in fines for exercising his freedom of speech in defense of all working people. Come to this meeting, stand with Wyatt and prepare to stop right to slave by mobilizing the power of our unions and organizing the unorganized.
