To make sure you're not allowing any comparatively weak algorithms or SSL/TLS implementations.
Me, personally, I had to do the following in Firefox. If you're running the most recent version of firefox, you may need to do the same thing, but check the site first.
Open a new tab, go to about:config
Change security.tls.version.min to 0 and change security.tls.version.max to 3 ... this means it will try TLS1.2 first then step all the way back down to TLS1.1, then TLS1.0, then SSL3.0 for compatibility.
Then I had to set security.ssl3.rsa_fips_des_edge3_sha to false to disable its use entirely.
If you're running Firefox and don't know how to fix the problems it catches, post and I'll try to help. If you're using Internet Explorer, switch to Firefox. If you're using Chrome or Opera or Safari, I'll do my best but I've not used Opera in 10 years and rarely use the others.
