Immigrants' Refusal to Integrate and Respect the Host Country.

I know I'm going to get crap for this, but ah well.

As we all know, most anti-immigrant sentiments and attitudes is just racism masquerading as politics. However, I can't personally agree with the positions of many leftists whose default stance is to treat the immigrant population as the "innocent brown people victimized and oppressed by the evil whites". When an individual migrates from a culture which, say, condones public stoning of girls for talking to boys, to a first world nation which brought the enlightenment, we should be working with immigrants to encourage integration as well as the adoption of genuine leftist values, not excusing the backwardness of their cultural customs or philosophies and further allow it to take over the society and destroy it, on the sole basis that they are the working class. This is no good for the leftist cause and politics. In a country like the United States where immigrants come from a wide range of cultures, not all immigrants from third world countries share similar perspectives and ideologies and that infact does make all the difference in their ability to assimilate and doing things like opening a restaurant and attempting to unify church and state again.

I just think that "brown immigrant are the good guys and white people of the host country are the bad guys" is lazy politics from the left. The reverse racism against white people is not only wrong but alienates people from our struggle.

also lacks any materially analysis of why these cultures would be so different, what purpose is served by 'stoning' etc,

I remember one time taking a bus home from school as a child, and there was this morbidly obese woman smoking lethargically with her three year old child right net to her. She was snarling to whoever was on the other side of the phone about the 'fuckin' Asians', and was on a tirade about how they "couldn't even be understood", they "probably couldn't see her because of the 'squint' and shouldn't be allowed to drive" and all this other shit about 'chinks' and 'gooks'. Fucking absolutely repulsive knowing that the innocent looking girl sitting right next to her is probably going to be shrouded in a similar personality for the rest of her life.
