Personally, as I'm sure you can tell, I really like herpetology. Also metal/punk music, and outdoors stuff. Also a pretty avid sports fan. What about you all?

I enjoy fiction of all sorts, especially books, movies and video games (as well as songs related to these works) that are able to invoke wonder or awe or terror or some sort of strong feeling. I want to be able to create something that can invoke a depth of emotions for other people too. I also love speculative fiction settings in general, and greatly value the art of world-building.

I'm really into fashion and such. Recently I've begun to design and make my own jewelry; getting kind of ok at it. I've been getting pretty into it, looking to get better though. I also like my spooky pet tarantula (Kim Jong, KJ). The love of my life is my daughter; she's my rock. I'm pretty boring, I spend most of my time playing video games, smoking shrubs or reading. I also like roller blading a whole, whole lot. My cook game is unparalleled, I am the most talented chef in all the world, even chef Ramsey addresses me as 'Supreme Chef.' I like to dance too, I more or less dance all throughout my day. Then again, I am very random, so it's hard to say what all I do off the top.

I like cooking, writing, drawing, Judo/martial arts, reading... yeah my interests seem pretty limited and boring when I write them down...
I am also into mathematics, but I don't know if that counts since I'm doing a degree in it.

Socialising.
Fitness.
How things work socially (Marxism, sociology) or physically (astrophysics) or biologically (evolution) or language (linguistics, etymology) or the mind (psychology).
I also have a moderate interest of sorts in anything 'mysterious discoveries', like crypto zoology, astrophysics, Bermuda triangle, first contact (mostly movies about it), TV series like Lost, or post-apocalyptic shows like Jericho.

I like chilling with my friends, watching and playing football, being outdoors, contemplating shit, watching movies and listening to music on my own, doing mad crazy shit on the spur of the moment. I used to read a lot more but having new stuff like a laptop and a touch screen phone has killed my attention span- but I'm gonna try and get it back!. Lately I've got into doing press ups.

sports - watching, playing, reading about, debating them. Mainly football, judo, squash and sometimes cricket in terms of playing, but i'll watch most things.
fitness and gym.
food - mostly eating, sometimes cooking.
drink.
music - listening, playing.
enjoy going to the cinema and theatre a lot but don't go all that often.
I love travelling but again, not often.
I love animals too - dream is to go on a safari. I like walking my dog.

Writing- I used to do stories, but now I mostly write poems
music- I sing and play various stringed instruments, either teaching myself songs I like or improvising whatever. sometimes I play piano when I'm bored, but that's mostly taking my mother's hymnals and mentally transposing the hymns into a minor key or otherwise fucking with them to make them sound weird or whatever.
I love studying pretty much anything about the brain, psychology, neurology, whatever.
I watch way too many cooking competitions on TV even though I suck at cooking and don't like to do it very much myself.
I love to watch ice hockey, and I sort of wish I could play, but number one, I can't skate, and number two, I'm completely unathletic, out of shape, and pretty short (and I don't make up for my height in speed because I tend to be pretty slow too)
I also really like exploring random places, just kind of wandering around a city and sometimes picking up random things I find. I currently don't have a lot of opportunities to do that since I live in a really boring place, but that will change soon.

Getting into online debates, and talking about crazy stuff like conspiracy theories and race and history and what not. I also like reading. I also enjoy thinking about how the leftist movement can make actual progress towards gaining more people into the socialist revolution.

Football, cricket, music, history and animals mixed together are always exceptional.
I should probably have put history down as an interest, seeing as teaching it is my career. Oops.

I also kinda like football.
There's no anime fans around here?

Making my own clothes
Restoring old hand and treadle sewing machines and old manual typewriters. Actually, I need to expand that. I will fiddle with any old machine given the chance. In fact, I just got hold of a 100 year old Singer treadle leather sewing machine and am going to learn how to make my own boots with it (after I have restored it). I take size 16 (UK) shoes and so have a real economic imperative to learn. I get the piss taken out of me every time I have to buy a new pair of work boots.
Spinning my own wool. I have also made a couple of spinning machines, so I suppose I should include them
I've had a go at weaving my own cloth, but haven't had time to really get into that. I'd really like to learn how to weave my own cloth from nettles as this was apparently the most common cloth in Europe many thousands of years ago.
Welding
Woodwork and wood-turning
I like doing and am pretty skilled at any kind of building and hard landscaping stuff.
I suppose I could subsume all of the above under the heading of mending and making stuff.
Anything to do with science and technology
Gardening
Natural history
Poetry. I write a bit as well, but it's pretty uniformly shit.
I play a few instruments, again pretty uniformly badly. But I enjoy playing them. I'm teaching myself how to sight read music. but, I'm 50 and it's not coming as quickly as it would have if I had learned it twenty years ago I guess.
I read loads, so I should include that. It used to be loads of fiction, but I have tended towards more factual as I have got older. I still read poetry although I much prefer to hear and see it performed. On that front, my son has been trying to get me into some interesting rap
I keep honey bees using something called a Warre hive. Its kind of a natural hive. Not so much honey, but good for the bees. Still plenty of honey though.
I have an increasing fascination and understanding of FRB money, how it works and how it has proved to be the main method of control over the least century.
I suppose I should say i have become a bit of a deep-greener over the last few years.
I'm kind of interested in everything really.

I'm also 22 years old. Are you me?
Your list actually reminded me to put animals down. I was at my aunt's on Christmas Eve, they have an adorable Black Labrador that I spent all evening hugging and feeding peanuts to on the sly. :crying:

I had to read that twice there when you said that you were reminded to put animals down. in the UK, putting an animal down means killing it.

I really enjoy studying and then using foreign languages, French, Spanish and Latin in junior high and high school, Russian and German in college, koiné Greek and classical Hebrew as a grad student, and, after I left school, some modern Greek. These days, I have a major involvement with Spanish, by translating political texts for a Latin American group, the Fracción Trotskista, ft-ci.org :)
I also enjoy working out at the gym three days a week. I used to run after work, but, now I concentrate on working with weights.

Cooking, eating, smoking weed with friends, history, music, I used to do quite a bit of landscape photography, MDMA, sleeping, and sex - it's pretty much my favourite thing - and other forms of human intimacy. I used to like reading but then I went to uni and it put me off somewhat, but I've started again though.
This reads quite a lot like an online dating profile... If you are interested please do drop me a PM lol (but only half joking).

I love to read. I've been a pretty avid reader since I was little and my job gives me spare time everyday to spend with my nose in a book. I like to write, but I dot consider myself very good at it. I love music as well, I am certainly not the most talented musician but I can hold my own. I predominantly play guitar, but I can mess around on bass and piano as well. I'd really like to teach myself to plays drums cause I've always wanted to drum in a punk band. I seem to spend weekends getting drunk and jamming in various basements with friends. I don't know what else I enjoy doing, not much I suppose. I do enjoy my job as well so there is that.

Hmm. I like surfing a lot. It's probably my favorite hobby, unfortunately I don't get to do it often. I also like snowboarding, but it's not as good as surfing. There's a reason people are often violently territorial over "surf spots", it's because when you catch a nice wave it's like a drug. Your mind (or at least my mind) just goes completely blank and it's the closest I've ever come to a meditative state.
I also like to ice skate. I've been doing that since a very young age (I grew up next to a pond that froze in the winter) and at this point I'm pretty good at it.
I like to watch horror films, violent thrillers and dark dramas.
I used to love to draw. I don't do that much anymore, unfortunately. Wasted talent.
I like recreational drug use, mostly marijuana and alcohol but on occasion other things, notably CNS psychostimulants (like caffeine, various forms of pharmaceutical amphetamine and amphetamine-substitute drugs like Ritalin and Focalin, MDMA, cocaine etc) and psychedelic hallucinogens like psilocybin. I'm not really a big fan of "downers", ie opiates and that sort of thing. Most illegal drugs where I normally live are too "exotic" and expensive to do on any sort of regular basis, though (which is probably a good thing).
For some reason I get enjoyment out of things that a lot of people probably find mundane, like driving, shaving or doing laundry. I like to travel and have interesting conversations with new people. I like the opposite sex. I like guns and firing guns. I like my job most of the time. I like to exercise on occasion. I like to sleep. Think that about covers it.

I like many things, not in an order specifically.
Marijuana, music like Belle and Sebatien and Inti-Illimani.
I also enjoy literature like João Cabral de Melo Neto, Machado de Assis and also like flirting.
Writing is very good, allthough kind of unconfortable in comparison to Portuguese.
Anyway, I love sorting things out, like in these sort of like lists. I'll probably read up the last ones and try to talk to someone about something other than boring tendency talks.

When I had a car driving around aimlessly on back country roads during one of the hardest times of my life is probably what saved me. It is the only thing that minimized and sometimes stopped panic attacks. I also find that if I'm really on an up cycle but don't have anything creative to do like art or whatever I clean or go through the little bit of stuff I have in storage at friends places. Last week I had a place to stay where I have some stuff and I just went through old pictures, threw a lot of them out, threw out useless stuff, organized it all into boxes, cleaned out a few jackets and stuff that I had. Read some journal entries from forever ago. Then I went into the kitchen area and started cleaning, cleaned out the refrigerator, then the bathroom, etc.. at a place I don't even live at. I wasn't even listening to music or anything it was just my thoughts or lack of thoughts and a very specific task.
I also can sit some places for hours and just stare at the ground and just be in the environment and get real spacey and introspective. My mother told me once that as a toddler/kid I would endlessly stare out windows. To this day that is something that obsesses me. There's something about that barrier looking out into something else, dunno if it's the light difference or what it is, but staring out windows is my thing.

Watching shitty B horror movies and talking shit on them afterwards with friends. Listening to music and playing guitar. Video-games socially, by myself it's pretty boring most of the time. Driving around and hot boxing my car with my friends. Playing with my dog. Playing sports in general but watching them is meh. Most outdoor type stuff is fun for me, I enjoy hiking and camping. Just sitting around passing a joint or a hookah and talking about the stupidest shit is fun too.

I'm quite fond of reading and writing, cartooning, video games, children's books, music of all kinds, fine arts, food, beautiful women (and men), bad movies, artsy foreign films, and long naps.

I do all that shit too. That's how I deal with stress a lot, is by cleaning. Like really going at it, devoting my mind to making sure that everything is spotless. My friends make jokes about how I'm ADHD or potentially a psychopath, and a number of women have made comments along the lines of, "for a guy's place this is really clean", but I don't care. It's therapeutic for me. I think that's basically what meditation is, right, is focusing your body's energy on some sort of mundane task, be it cleaning or paying attention to your breathing or whatever, so your mind can find peace.
At least according to that movie "Layer Cake". Good movie.
