Hello. I'm a young (16 year old)... I don't know what. I joined the forum chiefly out of interest in Marxism-Leninism and the left in general and a desire to learn more. From the little spot that I do know about the nuanced tendencies, I would probably label myself a Trotskyist, although that label may not be as permanent as the revolution proposed therein. Up until six months or so ago, I was a staunch libertarian and defender of free markets (though I somehow never lost my sympathy for the universal healthcare cause), mostly because of the philosophy's supposed reliance on individual liberty. At this point I am questioning all philosophies that I can, in the hopes of finding at least one I can align myself with, and I hope to learn all that I can during my stay here.

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

Not necessarily, there are many that chose to use the term and also denounce the reign and theoretical positions of Stalin.

If you are concerned with liberty, I would suggest reevaluating the necessity of the state in establishing communism.
