Hello everyone, I've been lurking for a bit and have decided to join the forum now.
I do not follow any particular "ism" as I feel they restrict ones ideas to what others believe that "ism" believes. I am however rather radically left and do agree with many anarchist and communist ideas.
A bit about myself: I am spiritually atheistic or perhaps spiritually agnostic depending on the day. I like thinking, people who think, discussing ideas/beliefs, music, and movies. If anyone has any questions for me I'd be happy to go into further detail on anything!
I look forward to joining in on the discussions here!

Welcome :)
If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!
If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

Anti-ism is anti-collective liberal rhetoric. The idea that you just be some unique special atomized ideology in yourself is vulgar individualism to say the least.
Despite this, welcome to the ultra-left's Internet hub.

Pick an ism or get out? I don't think that is our motto. OP never even hinted at the idea that his or her political views are somehow self indulgent or even "special".
You sound very open minded to me OP, hopefully you have a high tolerance for Stalinists.

I'm not "anti-collective", I just don't like people telling me what views I need to have. Restricting yourself to one ideology limits the mind, and limitations are one thing I detest.

See the Kshama Sawant thread.
God, ultra-leftism would be an improvement to the social democracy that is revleft.
Anyway hi OP

lol nobody is "telling you what to do" by playing the ideology game. The point is so you actually read into an ideology even if you don't continue in that vein. Education is more important than liberal bullshit.

You do realise that it is possible to read material from a variety of different viewpoints and take what makes sense to you and discard the rest? Besides, this is the introductions forum... You're not supposed to chase people away with hostility before they've even had a chance to expand on their views.
Anyway, welcome to revleft OP :)

If you can't deal with even this level of bullshit you'll never make it on revleft.
Also you're espousing an ideology even if you don't want to. Apolitical and non-ideology people are unconscious liberals as that is the prevailing hegemonic mindset.

You seem to think you understand my thought process based on my two posts and I'm a little confused about that. If you want to read one ideology and allow that to define the entirety of your ideals that's a bit shallow. Expand on everything. The point shouldn't be to read into one ideology, it should be to learn about as many as possible and come to your own conclusions.

Yeah that's liberal syncretism. It almost never leads to a coherent worldview.

youre dumb and its entirely understandable for a newcomer to not want to categorise themselves as each ideological label comes with lots of baggage they really can't grasp yet
it's a lot better that people actually take their time to figure out their politics as opposed to rushing to the first tendency that looks cool
chill the fuck out, we don't need to start the game of hunt the liberal in intro threads already

Helping someone escape the grasp of pernicious liberalism is a kindness. That said I understand and I urge others to learn some modicum of civil discourse.
Afterall a communist welcomes all.
