Discovered the site a while ago but never really looked at it until I wanted to reply today. Only 17 yrs old (going on 18 in a month) though I like to think I have a pretty good understanding for my age. I've made it my mission to educate and "convert" those around me with reasoning and facts, and it's worked pretty well so far with my friends/parents. I have a lot of experience (and fun) debating with my tea-party conservative best friend which has lead me to develop my own view of a democratic communist society (of which I am writing book about) mostly through coming up with ideas to combat other's perceived issues. I hope to present many of my views on the site in the near future and that others will respond with positive feedback. Also a Christo-pagan, so hopefully I can discuss some about that as well. Thanks for reading and I hope to see you around the forums. :)

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

I'm wondering what a "christo-pagan" is and am looking forward to seeing your more detailed posts about your ideas!

Hello there. I'm a dinosaur and marxist. What is your affiliation with the CPUSA and why?

yeah dont do that, no one likes those kind of people tbh. also communism isnt something that needs to be preached or sold on a market to the undwashed masses.

anyway, Das Kapital states "thouh shall not preach".

A christo-pagan is one who believes in Jesus and the Christian God but follows pagan holidays as well. I personally believe nature is a great medium to the devine, so that kinda goes along with it too.

I apologize, though I don't see the point of having an ideal if not to attempt to correct the ignorance of others. .-.

Well I'm only in the Youth Communist League atm though I hope to become a member when I turn 18 in a month. I wasn't sure if the organization spot was for that, so I apologize if I placed that wrong. :(

Im probably still in the YCLs rosters and that used to be my dream group, but now im in party limbo.

Just dont let some wild eyed Hoxhaist or some other really odd tendency suck you in and turn you into a robot that does nothing but spits up polemics on this site (Yes, its hypocritical for a Titoist like myself to say that)

Really? I go knocking door-to-door with a copy of Capital under arm.

Anyhow, Welcome OP! I was your age when I first discovered what is left of the worker's movement!

You will find out quickly, CPUSA bashing is the norm among the genuine left. (It is because they are liberals who have denounced revolutionary struggle).

Don't worry, I have a quite personal vision of communism. CPUSA to me is merely a supportive group that has the ability and the potential to grow/change. I see the ideology as a good start, not a guide. Thank you for the advice though, very helpful. :)
