I'm sad that her husband left her though :( like, what she's doing is cool but it's overall a sad story because of what she lost.

But then again maybe it wasn't a huge loss cause he sounds like he might have been a dick based in his reasoning for leaving her.

But the thing is, she just looks like him. I highly doubt she acts in any way like Mao. I mean, presumably he left her cause of her Mao impersonation, not because she always looked like Mao, otherwise they wouldn't have been together very long or at all.

I don't know. It still seems sad. But maybe there is a bigger picture we don't know about. I suppose it could have been stress from being "that guy who is dating the Mao lady". But either way, it's sad.

Chen Yan has numerous people who drive out to see her, and she's raking in five figures per appearance with her performance. So I don't think she's sad! Maybe their relationship was having troubles anyway, and he was just using this as an excuse. Either way, I'm sure she will find love again if she wants to~
