Big raid against Revolutionary Front in Sweden

The police hit 13 different houses all over the country early this morning against members from Revolutionary Front, and what we heard some members are still being hunted in their absence. The police says the charges varies from aggravated assualt, vandalism, threaths and arson. It is probably all bullshit and they are just trying to get to them because RF knew that a raid probably was coming and have the last days been educating people on how to deal with the Security Police and how to act when under interrogation.

For the record, Revfront has been down for months, due to various issues. They do most of their announcements on Facebook, in the mean time. No updates there yet.

A few have been released after interrogations, dont seem that the police had all that much on people. I also think they sped up the raid and had probably planned it to take place further on in the future. This is because some days ago RF released a long text about how to deal with the security police, how to behave in interrogations and what to do with informers.

Just some days after this text they raided the organistion. And now they are trying to come up with some bullshit charges and says that "we stopped an attack" because they found some gasoline or something. It is hilarious.

They are not just an antifascist group, they also have campaigns against other things. You will probably find them at most workers conflicts and strikes in the country. I would say that they are mixed ideologically, but most of them would be members of or be close to the Syndicalist Union(SAC). But they have always said they have zero tolerance for fascist activity.

Err. I have to say I disagree with removing my explanation of the actions of RF. But okay.

Actual stuff: Markus Allard, the Young Left district leader in Örebro, is facing calls from the Left Party leadership to leave his position after he gained attention in the media defending the actions and policies of RF - quite well, I'd say.

Other messages of support have been published all over - by the Syndicalist Youth Federation (Anarcho-Syndicalists) Workers' Power (Trotskyists), the October Movement (Maoists), and so on.

The leaders of the Left Party just suspended Markus Allard for expressing his support for Revolutionary Front. There is sort of an uproar among mostly younger Left Party members about this and many are telling them that they are now leaving the Left Party.

All but one is now released...it is becoming clear that this was a higly political raid on the orders of the government and the MP Birgitta Olsson who next week will present a study on "violent extremism" and how to prevent it.

The one who is still in jail also spent 2 months in jail earlier this year after he defended himself from a nazi attack against his home and stabbed one of the nazis in the cheast puncturing his lung and the rest of the nazis ran away. The socialist went to court on attempted murder charges but was cleared from all charges by the court because of self defence.
And now only some months later he is in jail again with already having spent 2 months in jail this year being innocent.
