View Full Version : Your Favorite RevLeft Description?

I came across this jewel in my inbox, describing RevLeft: "The home of the Hoxhaist shutin, the Bordigist basement dweller and the pseudo-autonomist psycho. In many ways it reminds me of alt.politics.socialism.trotsky, but for a younger generation of Internet oddball."
Have a favorite Revleft description or RevLeft anecdote?

I had someone tell me (I wont name any names) that they thought Ismail had what it took to be the next Lenin; they said this in all sincerity. That is probably my favorite anecdote, or else maybe the time a poster (again wont name names) said: 'wait so communism is stateless?' after being a user for 6 months and vehemently defending sioc/stalin/ml. Oh also nox.

Ultra-(Rev)Left  oh god, I'm so bored.
Wait, when talking to a young Anti-Revisionist Marxist-Leninist* he described RevLeft as "Revisionist Left". Other slurs from that same group of people included the addition of many vulgar words relating to fecal matter.
*(who happens to be a fascist now... strange development, since he went from loving Hoxha to being an Anarcho communist before the final transition to fascism. Somewhat sad his political path but whatever; even as a revolutionary I never thought highly of him and considered him to be a crypto-fascist using M-L ideology simply as a cover... okay, tangent time over)

I found the Great Moments in Leftism comic about RevLeft pretty funny, to be honest.

"Revleft is a bunch of pedophile zionists"
I always get a chuckle out of that one. It's like the second or third hit when you type revleft into a search engine. It's an MRN blog post. Needless to say I never bothered to actually read it.

HOLD UP
C'mon. We all know Bob Avakian is the next Lenin.
Ismail has what it takes to be the next Dzerzhinsky, tops.

Ismail is the next Bob Avakian, who in turn is the next Lenin, making Ismail the next next Lenin, the second-to-next Lenin...but the original statement was that Ismail 'had what it took to be the next Lenin,' not that he IS the next Lenin. Basically all this means is that he's got a good place in the succession order, there is a possibility that he may become the next Lenin, as Prince George has what it takes to be the next king, even if it is not yet accurate to refer to him as 'the next king.'
Get it???
