Islamists blackmail gay men into joining Nusra front; use them for sex and then murder them. Disgusting. As if the persecution LGBTQ comrades receive already wasn't bad enough!

I think perhaps there is a case here to be made for Western leftists to argue for UN military intervention to save the Syrian LGBTQ community from these crazed rebels.

This is one of the main reasons why I think networking for those on the left and in social and ethnic minority positions is so crucial.

There is more than ideology out there, there is murder. Individuals and groups should be out there to protect and help aide others in frightening and terrible conditions.

I sure hope these poor men are okay and that those already affected will soon be relieved of this terrible situation.
