Hopefully this is the right place to post this. But anyway, I don't have a lot of money this year so my budget for gifts for my family will have to be pretty low. I'm trying to think of things I can make myself that people would want to receive, but are nice and low budget. I have a few ideas, but it depends how much time I have I guess. It would be nice to hear any other ideas you might have and I will share mine.

All I really have so far is:
-Homemade sweets/biscuits
-Purse/make up bag/etc made out of recycled fabric (i.e. my "scrap fabric" pile)
-Drawings of a nice family photo (I have over-used this in the past though)

So yeah... I'm perhaps in need of some inspiration.

At work we made homemade holiday presents at this activity center. One of the better ones I saw, was someone bought a cheap wine glass and painted it with a cool design, then flipped it upside down on a table, and put a small candle on the base. It made for a cool candle holder.

I dumpster people presents all the time. it the thought that counts, people are touched that you found something, and thought that they would like it.
