There was supposed to be a link here in addition to the abstract below but due to my low post-count, I am unable to post links. A simple Google search will no doubt find the source article for any who are interested.
"Craig Cobb, 62, submitted to the test as part of The Trisha Show’s ongoing Race in America series and was given the results of the DNA Diagnostics test by the host, Trisha Goddard...On hearing the results Cobb, who insists he is not a white supremacist but a Creator, a religion which favours ‘racial awareness’, immediately dismissed the news that genetically he is 14 per cent Sub Saharan African, 86 per cent European, as ‘statistical noise.’...Speaking to MailOnline Cobb said: 'I agreed to the test because I assumed it was science.' Instead, he said, it was a scientifically bankrupt procedure, the product of 'craven and debased executives,' whose 'goal is to shock.'"
I can't speak to veracity of the results presented but whether they are true or not there is no arguing that this is a funny turn events. I like how he immediately dismisses the results because he doesn't want them to be true but if this same test had conclued 100% European ancestry there would have been no whining about "statistical-noise" -- which only applied to the sub-Saharan African portion of the DNA sample.

Such DNA tests can be hit or miss, but 14% is not statistical noise. If it was 0.4% or 1.4%, then he could try and claim it as noise, but 14% is a lot - that's a recent ancestor from Sub Saharan Africa, certainly within the last few hundred years.
The article you mention is linked below, although the Daily Mail is a really shitty right-wing newspaper, which should really be avoided.

This was actually the same with a racist member of my family, lol.
Is this from reference population? What basis are they using - haplotypes? Because 'European' sounds spurious.

I'm aware that the Daily Mail can be a shit right-wing rag, however, this article is not representative of that so I saw no reason they couldn't be used as a source. If it makes you feel better you can read the article on any number of other sites that reported this story. This particular one was just the first one I came across.

Honestly, I don't see how white supremacists can resist the knowledge that all of humankind are Africans with varying levels of displacement and melanin deficiencies.

This is exactly what happened to me (minus the whole 'white-nazi filth' thing)! Even though I look as white as sour cream, my results from the genographic project clocked twenty-something percent sub-saharan african. I knew I had some close African family and ancestry, but I didn't know it was that close!

While the rest of your quote is true, this is just nonsense. Phenotypes expressed as low melanin levels is not a 'deficiency', as a deficiency implies there is some depravity or malady within the human body. The historical adaption to the UV intensity of climates is completely natural and certainly not due to some 'deficiency' in people with lighter complexions. This can be seen in Southern indigenous Australians and bushmen both tending to have very light complexions, as opposed to ethnic groups further north, who have darker complexions the closer they historically were to the equator.

I concede that 'deficiency' has negative connotations, especially in regards to one's body. I apologize for misrepresenting the true nature of complexion in that statement; I hoped to rhetorically diminish the notion of "whiteness" by showing that it is not the presence of something, but an absence, while emphasizing that race is a hierarchical conceptualization of biological features with more cultural and societal baggage than those features should suggest in of themselves.

A fine example of right wing bigots ignoring the facts that don't fit their world view. People hear what they want to hear.

There's already a very recent thread on this, although I can't link to it either due to low post count.

It is my understanding that the same results can be had with a Cobb Salad.
