So I'm awful at introductions but here we go. First of all I'm anarcho-something. I've got a lot of ideas swimming around in my head but I think I identify more with anarcho communism. I'm firmly against the state, money, and central planning and authority in all its forms. I believe in love and community as an alternative to "politics" as they exist now. I like books, music and art in all its forms. Some of my favorite peeps are Emma Goldman, Carl Sagan, George Carlin, Pat the Bunny, Bill Hicks and Buddha. I expect to do a lot of learning here and have some productive, intelligent conversations. Namaste, motherfuckers

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

Where are you from and what's the left there like?

Well since you asked I'm from the KCMO area, and in all honesty I don't know many other radicals, though most of my friends identify as "anarchists" they'd be fairly clueless if you asked them to go into any kind of detail. It should be nice to start interacting with some more like-minded people :)

Ah the: "ANARCHY! Wait... Anarchy is a system of government?" people  Those guys are fun.

Welcome and nice to meet you! I too do not know any radicals in real life, but thank god for the internet. Can't wait to see what you have to say and hear those ideas floating around in your head.

Ah the: "ANARCHY! Wait... Anarchy is a system of government?" people

The best thing about this is that they are still wrong about anarchism, despite changing their views.

Welcome aboard! Maybe you should go more into your political views?

Ok well I'm not super eloquent and more than a little naive, I consider myself an ancom based on my understanding of the ideology, meaning no state, from each according to ability, to each according to need, planning left up to communities and everybody gets along and smokes pot and sings hippie protest songs all fucking day. (Don't take that as an attack on the ideology that was more self-parody than anything, poking fun at my own naivete, but I'm here to learn ;)
