Can any good come from the various left initiatives such as Left Unity, Peoples Assembly, Trade Union Socialist Coalition? Seems to me that in the absence of a rise in genuine working class struggle these iniatives are just bureacratic maneouveres which just ends up demralising those involved in these initiatives.

well, you nailed it yourself, that's exactly what they are.

although, given the only people involved are those always involved in such initiatives, the demoralisation bit clearly doesn't work. perhaps it would be a good thing if it did.
