I think it's largely superficial. If we were all sat in a room together, I'm pretty certain it would be a very different dynamic.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe do two continental meet ups, North America and Europe and connect them by skype. But these are quite large, so maybe have multiple meet ups continentally and meet up by skype. Or maybe then all individually join in from skype from home. But that could get messy, so maybe use the skype chat instead. But then we could use the revleft chat. But with so many people it could get chaotic. So perhaps use some blog-like website where you can leave comments on topics of your choosing and respond to each other's points.

Two conditions, though. Someone getting me a place to crash and people buying me booze.
