A lot of addicts on depressants (i.e. alcohol, benzodiazepines, etc.) seem to use methamphetamine, amphetamine, powder cocaine, crack cocaine, and other stimulants while on the depressants for some reason. As a matter of fact, some crack addicts only relapse once they're drunk, and some people initially try crack while inebriated.

I grew up a couple miles from the Ford household, have had friends etc in legal disputes with them, bought dope as teenager supplied by the Mayor's brother, got my first political activity in fighting the Nazis his sister was involved with, have walked around the factory he and his family own, went to high school a block from where he coached football, been by the house where he was smoking rock.
