I have a Windows laptop that's a couple years old, in decent enough shape, was planning on just giving it away to whoever shows up first to take it, but maybe I should sell it? What kind of value would it have?

Without a hard drive, I'd say that 40-60 dollars should be deducted from the price. Without knowing what the specs are and what the model is, I can't tell you more beyond that

It's a Toshiba Satellite C-Series laptop

if its good shape (no visible scratches on screen e.t.c) you could probably sell it for 100 USD.
How many inches is the screen?

is it one of these?
