I recently saw a doccumentery about the UK during World War two, and it said that the UK kept 385,000 German POW's after the end of the second world war to perform forced labor.
Has anyone else heard of this and possibly have more information on it? I heard the Germans that ended up in Soviet camps usually never went home.
