It's obviously a messy issue. One part of me is relived, I suppose. But another part of me is shrieking COP KILLER!!!!

``I'm angry, outraged, and disgusted,'' said officer Daniel Faulkner's widow, Maureen Faulkner. ``I think Judge Yohn is a sick and twisted person, after sitting on this case for two years and making this decision just before Christmas. He wants to play the middle road and try to appease both sides and it doesn't work.''

Considering there's someone who's actually confessed to it, with a confession which fits into all the other witness statements, I think she should be happy that there's someone who's actually admitted doing it.

Victory!!!! I am thrilled beyond words. Mumia never failed to report from his death row cell the injustices that were going on in ALL parts of the world.

well, i believe in his innocence. but wether you believe it or not does not matter, if you read about the situation in philadelphia at that time, and about the trial mumia got, you can easily see that he did not get a fair trial.

so i understand this right?
death sentance is gone, but he is still on life sentence?

well big fucking deal. They would have never dared to kill him anyway, this is like handing out a little piece of candy to the hungry.

he deserves a new trial. basta.

It's cool he's not gonna get fried by the U$A, but he is still rotting behind bars. Back in September he was going to have his trial appealed but the Philadelphia police denied him that, again.

Hey, I'm just happy he's off of death row. Granted he shouldn't rott in prison and I think he should be given a new trial. However, today I sigh in relief.

i am extremely happy about this news but a little concerned about some of the statements that hae been made. His guilt has not truly been proven, he did not have a fair trial. it is absolutely horrific that he even spent as much time on death row as he did without being given that fundamental human right

OUT OF THE FUCKING PRISON THEY`VE MADE TO MAKE INNOCENT PEOPLE PAY FOR THEIR OWN SINS.

It is a relief that he has been take off death row and that must surely be some sort of admission of his innocence. But from some of the statements that police officials were making it seems as if they want to leave him in prison to rot.

He deserves the right to appeal and prove his innocence.
