Transgender Google Auto-Complete Photo Essay

This weekend I repeated the Google auto-complete experiment using the words "transgender" and "transsexual," and the results were indeed different. They were also awful, depressing, and horrifying all at the same time. Afterwards I teamed up with a trans male friend (who does a lot of artwork I admire) to put these results to pictures. We hope that there is something to be learned, and that the folks at the UN will recognize that the stereotypes we're fighting vary by community.

It's sick and it shows the how much hatred there is toward transgenders.
Even the more tolerant people i know don't fully accept transgenders.
For example this starcaft 2 pro-gamer http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Scarlett is a mtf transgender, she has many fans. However when i talked with my friends about her pro-gamer career one of them said "she should not participate in female only tournaments because she is not a real female".
