Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

I see you are a member of the CPUSA. My understanding of this organisation is that it is a sad shadow of its past that furthermore only seems to exist to support the Democrats. So, what attracted you to this party?

Welcome. Voting isn't what we should be going for when it comes to politics anyway. You can't vote socialism into existence through bourgeois democracy specifically set up to defend bourgeois interests.

o well this is ok I guess

Hate to break it to you, but over half the people here don't vote for their communist parties

Hi, you are very correct. Karl Marx himself said in an interview that there can be no change in this world thru peaceful diplomatic means. He said that the only way real changes in history have been realized is thru military armed rebellions of the oppressed against the oppressors

Engels said in the Preface to the Class Struggles in France

The time of surprise attacks, of revolutions carried through by small conscious minorities at the head of unconscious masses, is past. Where it is a question of a complete transformation of the social organization, the masses themselves must also be in it, must themselves already have grasped what is at stake, what they are going in for [with body and soul]. The history of the last fifty years has taught us that. But in order that the masses may understand what is to be done, long, persistent work is required, and it is just this work which we are now pursuing, and with a success which drives the enemy to despair.
