Hello, comrades. I've been debating creating an account on here for a while now, but have obviously come around. I use this site a lot for educational purposes, and have noticed that a lot of the most intelligent things that I've read on here were said by users who are now banned. I've read the terms and agree with them all 100%, so I hope that I don't get the axe as well.

Paranoia aside, my name is Willow and I'm probably an eco-socialist or something like that. I’ve been a libertarian socialist for very long time now, but my ideas are kind of conflicting now. This is actually the main reason why I joined. I need to understand more about socialism in order to reconcile my beliefs, and hopefully develop some ideas of my own. I guess I’ll post specifics of these instances in the learning thread later.

Politics aside, I live in the United States in the state of Florida. I am a part-time distribution worker and a full time geology student. I love science, especially earth science. I hope to eventually become a geophysicist and study geo-fluid dynamics or plate tectonics. I also really like music. I’ve been playing the bass for a long time and could marry it lol.
That’s pretty much all there is to say I guess. I look forward to meeting all of you and engaging in intelligent discourse.

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

If you follow the rules, then you should have no fear of getting banned.

Also, I look forward to your scientific insights :)

Welcome, you may find the works of libertarian socialist with an interest in the beauty of nature, William Morris to be interesting.
