Exactly who and what are you proposing to rebel against? And I mean besides "bullshit lies and conformity". Conformity is ignorance but certainly is not a crime against humanity as far as I'm concerned. Can you articulate, or are you simply rebelling against your country because you are angry at BU$H and have nothing else to do? I understand your anger if it is directed against the bush adminmistration for it's imperialistic redneck views. However if you truly wish to make a difference you might try fighting for a clearly articulated cause instead of your apparent Rage Against The Machine, Zack de la Rocha, revolution-in-a-bottle ideas. Please take my advice and think about your cause before attempting to gather followers. You could even try creating a website to form a base for a political organization. I will be behind you all the way if you can think of something to actually rebel against sometime!

no, we might need the police for after the revolution. we should take out those who control it, and convert the police to trotskyism, to use for the police force of socialism. it will be quicker than training the workers about how to enforce the law even if it is changed some

wel.......that's all nice and good I suppose, but to be honest I don't see where you're going.

Don't get me wrong, it's a classic move,
Attack the person, Attack their ideology. Congratulations on digging up that old favorite.

But really who cares?????

The validity of an argument has nothing to do with who presented it,

Adam Smith certainly wasn't working class, but if I argued that that disproved capitalism, you'd, justifiably, laugh.
Adam Smith was also never involved in sales or retail or production or manufacturing or business or labour or stocks or bonds. If I were to argue that that disproved capitalsim, you'd be laughing again.

And maybe after all that laughing you'd realize that an idology is exactly as strong as its ideas.
Not its creator, not its followers, its ideas.
It is one of the fundamental laws of logic.

You disagree with communism....fine.....

You want to defend capitalsim.....fine.....

But, honestly, if you can't attack the ideas,
don't embarass yourself by attacking the people.

At this point, that move has just become far too clichéd.

el profe, these things are irrelevent. This site is made up of many teenagers, so of course they will talk about their personal lives and so on. However, it also has many older members. Society making people outcast is as much of a problem under socialism as it is under capitalism, and if you do not recognise it as a problem you are simply a rather inhumane person. However, unlike you I would not suggest that this has anything to do with you ideology, rather it is to do with your immature character. Other members have suggested you are immature, based on this thread I would agree with them. You criticise some of the socialist members of this board for being immature, however you seem to behave similarly.

What's funny is that I just came out from the inner city and my parents are workers(REAL workers btw), and I have even worked in a factory for a while in my life, yet they are the ones that are "struggling" they are the vanguard of the workers, it's pathetic.

Where does someone say that they are middle class yet 'struggling' similarly to a working class individual?

I never said your an outcast because of your idology, its because of your personality.
However many on this board who are outcast decide to go against "mainstream" society, so they say they are communist and atheist because its there way of like going against society.

They did not come to a conclusion on communism based on facts or by analyzing things, they just know that most of society is against communism and since in there minds society has made them outcast they will "become" communist just to ba against what most of society says/thinks.

This also happens with a kid who has a religious or republican or capitalist parents, kids want to rebel or feal different from there parents so they "become" atheist or communist.

The same with atheism, I remember in High school, people that where "atheist" not because they did not believe in god, but bvecause they hated god, because they blame god for any "bad" thing that happens to them or because there parents where religious and they wanted to go against what there parent says/thinks.
Of course not all people on this board got to be communist because of this but I would argue that alot of them have. And it is true, you can see in the post, the resentment many people on this board have. They are driven by emotions rather than thinking.
You can see this in the denial of murders by the USSR, or cuba or any other "communist" country.

You also see this in the way people make idols out of criminals, its actually sad to see these loser defend criminals like Stalin, and deny or come up with some justification for the actions of these murderers.
With cuba, you got morons here denying or justifying the fact that people in CUba are not allowed to leave there country at will, they have to escape.

And how do you think most capitalists choose capitalism?? Carefull examination of the alternatives?

Now who's referencing high school?

But honestly, of all the millions of angry and disaffected teens in the world, how many choose.......communism??

Believe me if every teenager who's ever felt left out by society became a marxist, you'd see a revolution tommorrow.

Besides, it is quite possible that non-conformists who would be rejected by the rather infantile (you have to admit) teenage "society", would be the same ones likely to rebel against modern society or its institutions. But that does not mean that one is a product of the other.

You can never assume causality without proof.

Of course not all people on this board got to be communist because of this but I would argue that alot of them have. And it is true, you can see in the post, the resentment many people on this board have. They are driven by emotions rather than thinking.

Well, it's a message board, and you're only seeing a section of it.

A section which tends to bring out emotions because it is centered around "opposing ideologies"

You cannot assume that someone is a communist solely due to emotions just because they are emotional here.

.....but yah, there are assholes in every ideology.

That's life,
it doesn't mean anything.
