Are there any pro-Pol Pot books in English, or at least neutral scholary studies of Pol Pot-ism? Im trying to better understand his version of Maoism and haow it was applied to Cambodia. Everything available seems to be anti....

(It's not related to books but...) He was not a Maoist or a communist he only called himself a Maoist after Mao died.

I really doubt youll find any neutral books on Pol Pot.

Pro-Pol Pot books, as in books supporting Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge?
IMHO, you're not likely to find such books in English; rather, I'd suggest reading Philip Short's Pol Pot: Anatomy of a Nightmare which does a good job of explaining just what happened with Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge while linking it with an analysis of contemporary Cambodian politics.

Try anything on Cambodia by Alain Badiou or Samir Amin circa 1968-1979. :lol:
