I am a twenty year old Orthodox Marxist currently residing in the land of too little bread & too many circuses as exemplified by the City of Daytona’s obsession with NASCAR and Motorcycle themed events.
Having lived in Daytona Beach for at least two years I can say that despite my best efforts to bolster class conciseness, unfortunately there is no organized leftist movement of note within city limits… to the best of my knowledge we have very few proverbial boots on the ground here. [24 people voted for the Socialist Party USA Presidential Ticket (Alexander/Mendoza) in the 2012 election, though I am wary of those that attempt to justify working only within the confines of the system]
I hope to engage in some intriguing discussions/debates in these hollowed forums that will not only expose me to the viewpoints of others engaged in the struggle, but perhaps help me to personally expand my ideological comprehension.
I join with an open mind and a willingness to better serve my global brothers and sisters in the struggle against Capitalist Oppression.
