I'm reading works by Lenin atm and I'm wondering what are the recommended reads on RL? Are there any specific that go with the must read genre of Marxist works?
Thank you.

The problem with the works of such figures is that they can hardly be understood without historical context. Probably the most famous example of such hardship is What is to be Done?

But yeah, go ahead and do read that piece. Also be sure to catch on the April Theses and The State and Revolution, in one go I'd say. His Imperialism is a different kind of beast, namely that of the insufficient understanding of the phenomenon (key here is the Second International and its interpretation of imperialism), but you can read that as well.

Just don't get caught up in that Lenin worship that all too often passes for communism.

I'm learning as I go. Thank you. I am keeping an open mind and an open ear. Just learning as much as possible to educate others.
