I read a book recently documenting the proported intentional introduction of AIDS into the US population by the American government. What do people think of this thesis?

I dont think it could be true it sounds like some type of conspiracy theory to me.

Yes. JFK assassination conspiracy theories were also propagated by the Soviets. Read up on Operation INFEKTION. They did it as revenge for that Yellow Rain thing in 1981.
